After the Rain was inspired by a walk I took with my mom during a layover in Anchorage, Alaska, last summer. I remember reveling in how accessible the mountains were from the city. This is a sister piece to A Walk in Alaska, but I felt drawn to capture the lupines in even more detail, making them the primary focus of the piece.
