During quarantine, one of the ways that my family and I stayed sane was to hike. This painting encapsulates the memories I made hiking with my parents over Covid. Many of my paintings are deeply inspired by the beauty of Washington's mountainous wilderness. Although my time in the mountains has decreased since the pandemic due to the demands of work and day-to-day life, my love for the peace that they bring me has not.
