This painting was inspired by the annual trip I take to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in Washington. I am always blown away by the vibrancy of the landscape and the sheer number of flowers. After every visit, I capture the scene through my art. First with whiteboard markers, then with oil pastels, and now with acrylic paint.
