My first trip to New York City exceeded all of my expectations. There’s so much going on all of the time, which is part of its magic. Central Park felt like a little slice of stillness, like a deep breath, in the middle of it all. The unexpected beauty of the park in the winter took my breath away. I tried to capture that feeling with this piece. A little bit of respite in the beautiful chaos of the city.
